The president of MSNBC apologized for remarks made by political analyst Matthew Dowd in the course of the community’s protection of the taking pictures of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

Rebecca Kutler stated within the assertion, “Throughout our breaking information protection of the taking pictures of Charlie Kirk, Matthew Dowd made feedback that have been inappropriate, insensitive and unacceptable. We apologize for his statements, as has he. There isn’t a place for violence in America, political or in any other case.”

Round 3 p.m. ET, as networks have been scrambling for extra particulars of what occurred, MSNBC’s Katy Tur spoke about Utah’s gun legal guidelines, she turned to Dowd, asking him about “the setting by which a taking pictures like this occurs…. He added about Kirk, “He’s been probably the most divisive, particularly divisive youthful figures on this, who is continually type of pushing this type of hate speech or type of aimed toward sure teams. You may’t cease with these type of terrible ideas you could have after which saying these terrible phrases and never count on terrible actions to happen. And that’s the unlucky setting we’re in.”
